is Hux's latest cd called P. Hux - Mile High Fan (L.A. Recordings
1988-1993). This recording features Parthenon Huxley, Rusty Anderson, Jen
Condos, Rob Ladd, Jason Falkner, Robin Lane, and more... it's the P. Hux Missing
Link. Mile High Fan is a 15-song collection of songs that P. Hux wrote back when
he was a staff writer for MCA Records, with all but one track previously
unreleased.
The liner notes include The Story Of Mile High Fan, song notes, and bios, all
written by P. Hux in inimitable P. Hux style.
Here's what he wrote about the opening track, R.E.D. (Revolution Every Day):
"Jon Stewart recently joked 'Oprah has purchased France!'. Fourteen years
earlier we sang 'Sony bought Brazil.' Cool riff on this one and great stuff from
Rusty and ex-Captain Beefheart [soon to be ex-Parthenon Huxley] drummer Robert
Williams". Check out Hux's official site to listen to sound samples, read about
the history, and buy the CD from the P. Hux store.
